Early morning in the Dolomites, and I had quite frankly had a poor night’s sleep at the rifugio. A shared dorm room with snoring strangers had frustratingly kept me up. As I was preparing myself for the morning hike before leaving, I noticed this view out through the back door. Instantly, I felt at peace again, and excited to explore the mountains that day.
